Ch\u00e2teau Fontcreuse<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0est r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour sa viticulture traditionnelle, un travail du sol minutieux et des vendanges vertes afin de proposer des\u00a0vins de Cassis<\/span>\u00a0de grande qualit\u00e9. Expos\u00e9 plein Nord,\u00a0Fontcreuse<\/span>\u00a0profite de conditions id\u00e9ales pour la production de\u00a0vins blancs de Cassis<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

L’HISTOIRE DU\u00a0CHATEAU FONTCREUSE<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Chateau de Fontcreuse<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0est une b\u00e2tisse de 1700 situ\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0Cassis<\/span>\u00a0au pied de la Couronne de Charlemagne, \u00e0 une vingtaine de km de Marseille. En 1922, d\u00e9couvrant et tombant amoureux de la ville de\u00a0Cassis<\/span>, le colonel Teed rach\u00e8te le\u00a0Chateau Fontcreuse<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0et se consacre uniquement \u00e0 la viticulture. Apr\u00e8s de nombreux efforts, il \u00e9labore un grand vin blanc qui fera la renomm\u00e9e de\u00a0Fontcreuse<\/span><\/strong>. En 1987,\u00a0Jean Fran\u00e7ois Brando<\/span>\u00a0reprend le\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau de Fontcreuse<\/span>\u00a0et travaille avec passion en m\u00e9langeant terroir et tradition.<\/p>\n

FONTCREUSE<\/span>\u00a0EN CHIFFRE<\/h4>\n

Le\u00a0Domaine Fontcreuse<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0s’\u00e9tend sur 38 Hectares dont\u00a0 26 en appellation\u00a0Cassis<\/span>\u00a0et propose du\u00a0Cassis Blanc<\/span>, du\u00a0Cassis ros\u00e9<\/span>\u00a0et du rouge en IGP. Aujourd’hui,\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau de Fontcreuse<\/span>\u00a0est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour son\u00a0vin blanc de Cassis<\/span><\/strong>. Apr\u00e8s avoir hiss\u00e9 le Domaine\u00a0\u00e0 un tr\u00e8s haut niveau de qualit\u00e9,\u00a0Jean Francois Brando<\/span>\u00a0a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de produire \u00e9galement un Blanc en C\u00f4tes de Provence. Les vendanges sont manuelles. Tous les vins sont en Bio \u00e0 partir du mill\u00e9sime 2017.<\/p>\n

CASSIS BLANC<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0FOCUS SUR L’APPELLATION<\/h4>\n

L’appellation\u00a0Cassis<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re appellation cr\u00e9e en 1936. Elle couvre aujourd’hui un peu plus de 200 hectares uniquement sur la ville de\u00a0Cassis<\/span>. Seulement 12 Domaines b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de l’appellation, dont\u00a0Fontcreuse<\/span>. Les c\u00e9pages dominants sont la Marsanne et la Clairette contrairement aux autres Blancs de Provence \u00e9labor\u00e9s principalement \u00e0 base de Rolle. Les\u00a0vins de Cassis<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0ont \u00e9galement un terroir bien particulier compos\u00e9 de Calcaire riche en oxyde de fer. Pour finir, le climat est aussi favorable \u00e0 l’\u00e9laboration de grands vins.<\/p>\n
